Take a tour of Chelsea Clinton’s former NYC pad, which is back on the market for nearly $6M
You might not be able to reside in the White House, but at least you can own a piece of Clinton family history right here in the Big Apple. A three-bedroom NoMad condo where Chelsea Clinton and hubby Marc Mezvinsky once lived has hit the market, the Observer reports. The couple, who are expecting their second child, sold this 1,922-square-foot pad at 225 Fifth Ave. for $4.75 million in 2013. Mezvinsky snagged the spread in 2008 for $4 million, city records show. The current asking price is $5.99 million.
The young family now lives larger, in 5,000-square-foot digs close by at 21 E. 26th St. (where Jennifer Lopez owns a unit), which they bought for $10.5 million in 2013. That doesn’t mean their old place is a dump. It’s the lowest-priced three-bedroom unit in the building and has direct views of Madison Square Park, according to the Observer, which means it’s actually quite the get.
Located on the 10th floor, Clinton and Mezvinsky’s former unit features an open chef’s kitchen with top-line appliances, a living/dining space underneath 10-foot ceilings and a roomy master suite with a spa-like ensuite bathroom. The home also comes smart-wired, with electronic shades, Lutron-controlled lighting and built-in speakers.
A doorman, live-in super, gym and dry-cleaning service are some of the building’s amenities.
