Marco Rubio Accompanied President Trump In Central Florida
President Donald Trump has a packed schedule these days, and he’s going across the country to meet people, and talk about major issues. The President has already kept most of his campaign promises.
This time President Trump headed to Central Florida to tour St. Andrew Catholic School. But, something strange happened as he boarded Air Force One. Can you guess who joined him? It wasn’t his wife, First Lady Melania, and neither was his daughter, Ivanka. Could you ever imagine that Senator Marco Rubio would join the President during his journey? This was quite surprising, because you don’t usually see Rubio and President Donald Trump. Rubio planned to visit the school, too.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner and their children were there, too. Gov. Rick Scott was waiting for them to arrive. Well, it seems like Scott wasn’t the only person to “welcome” the Trumps. Protesters “honored” the First Family, as expected. We’d be surprised if there were no protesters waiting to chant.

Rubio wasn’t really President Trump’s best friend during the Republican primaries. He was his rival, and we all saw him using every opportunity he could to humiliate the President by making jokes about his “small hands” and spray tan. Rubio finally learned that President Trump isn’t his opponent, and now they’re together at the event, because they both support school choice. President Trump used his speech at the joint session of the Congress to express his support for charter schools and vouchers.
“I am calling upon members of both parties to pass an education bill that funds school choice for disadvantaged youth, including millions of African-American and Latino children. These families should be free to choose the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school that is right for them,” President Trump explained.
What do you think about this event? Could you ever imagine that Rubio would join President Trump during his trips?
